Basic Meditation     Chakra Meditations

Meditation For
Everything Wonderful

This meditation is good with any candle.

Give yourself 10 to 30 minutes of uninterrupted time.

Turn off your phone and anything else that could distract you. 

Sit in a comfortable posture, either on a chair or on the floor cross-legged, the important thing is to be comfortable and to have your spine straight. 

Allow each step to proceed naturally; move forward only when you are ready.  Don’t rush at all.

 

  • Light your candle.

  • Gently gaze at the candle.  Let your eyes relax.

  • Breathe through your nose.  Take deep long breaths. 

  • Breathe abdominally.  When you inhale swell from your tummy. 

  • When you exhale squeeze in with your tummy.

  • Close your eyes and stay with your breath.

  • Inhale to the count of seven and exhale to the count of seven.  Focus on the flow of your breath. 

  • Feel it flow into your body, filling every cell with energy and life, then as you exhale, let yourself be very present in the very moment.  Let all thoughts fall away as you focus on
    your breathing.  It might take time and practice.

  • Dive into the spaces of silence between thoughts.  Let these spaces become longer and longer. 

  • It is within these spaces that you begin to experience meditation.  It is here that meditation begins!
